Post-return to work follow-up, relapse prevention
This is about detecting a potential relapse following the gradual return to work of the employee, especially if the support is due to end at the same time as a full-time return to work. In such an event, support should continue for a limited duration with the agreement of the insurer and the policy holder. The file would then be closed after a full-time return to work, to confirm that the risk of relapse has been eliminated.
In the context of a return to work, it is very important to involve the policy holder's employer/manager in order to properly prepare all parties for a successful return. This is achieved through open and constructive exchanges at each stage of the rehabilitation process. The goal is for everyone to feel supported and heard.
