Initial assessment, work capacity assessment

The initial assessment is a very important front-line intervention because it allows us to: 

​

• establish a bond of trust with the policy holder; 

• understand the history of the sick leave and all the psychosocial factors  (individual and relational) associated with it;

• assess the policy holder's current capacities and limitations (assets/barriers), daily functioning; 

• understand the needs of the policy holder in order to intervene appropriately to enable a return to work as soon as possible and under the best conditions;

• write a report, proposing the implementation of a personalized plan for each policy holder/client with respect and listening. This report includes the estimated time required and associated costs.
